Devarabetta Hill,Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu
The Devarabetta Hill Temple is situated in Thally Hill in the Krishnagiri District of Tamil Nadu, approximately 54 km from Bangalore. This monolithic hill stands at around 80-90 feet high and is surrounded by the Anchetty/Bannerghatta forests. The hilly region is rich in forests and boasts rare, wild flowers.
There are two temples on the hill—one at the summit and another at the base. A 200-step stairway leads to the ancient Lord Shiva temple at the hilltop. From the backside of the Devara Malai Temple, visitors can enjoy a wonderful scenery. At the base of the hill, there is an old cave Shiva temple, still under construction. Additionally, there is a temple tank and a natural pond on the hill.
