Kethanahalli Waterfalls Near Bengaluru | Chikkaballapura | Must visit place 70KM Away from Bangalore
Kethanahalli waterfalls also called as Vivekanada waterfalls. To go to the waterfall from the main road for road entry you have to pay Bike Rs.20 car Rs.50 local people collecting it... again to park the bike Rs. 20 & car Rs.50. I literally got angry.. just that why should I pay 2 places entry + Parking Grrrrr!
Wonderful drive-away for a weekend with family or friends. I have visited the place with my wife and kids. The drive from Bangalore to this place is nice but once you reach near by you have to drive 2-3 KM like off road and 2 - 3KM trek, it took around 45mins. This place you can get lost of the track easily so be careful. Carry snacks and water compulsory, you don't find any shops.
Its not so easy for kids and old-age people very difficult so never try it. But when you start the trek... before reach to main falls you will spot 2 - 3 mini falls, where old age people or kids can enjoy here.
