Tannirbhavi beach is in Kasba Bengre, Mangalore, Karnataka. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in coastal Karnataka. Along with the beach, Sultan Battery, Tannirbavi Tree Park & the proposed Marine museum are also the tourist attractions. The beach is famous fast its sunset view since it is located on the west coast in Arabian sea.
This beach is very easy to reach from Mangalore Central. Take bus till Sulthan bathery which cost Rs.15 and ferry from Sulthan bathery to Tannirbhavi beach which cost Rs10. Ferry is available in every 30 minutes. Beach is well maintained and is kept clean.
This beach attracts huge crowd in the evening mostly localities along with tourists. Most family outing place hence there are few activities in the beach including camel ride, horse ride etc. Do carry food/drinks as there are very less food outlets.
Timings: Monday to Sunday, from 6 am to 10 pm. Entry Charges: The entry is absolutely free.
