Guna Caves Kodaikanal | Kodaikanal Tourism
Discovered in 1821, this popular cave site exists between 3 massive, pillar-shaped rocks. The spot was a very little known hiking spot prior to the 1992 Kamala Hassan movie 'Guna' . Most of the scenes from the movie were shot within this Cave after that it become very famous and renamed as Guna Caves.
It is one of the most visit places in Kodaikanal. From the entrance you have to walk nearly 500 meter in the forest to reach the destination. The roots of those tall big trees give a different feel and its more than 200 years old. View point is there from which the hill looks beautiful but most of the time it will be coved with Fogg. Many food stalls are available near the entrance.
