Arunachalesvara Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to the deity Shiva, located at the base of Arunachala hill. It's having very great architecture and finish. This temple was built before 1100 years and the architecture of the temple has its contribution from various kingdom from Cholas, Pandias, Sambuvarayars Posalas, Vijayanagar kings, Nayaks, Nagarathargal, Cheftains and Zamindars. The temple posseses more than 1000 statues and 450 stone inscriptions. This temple has 6 sculpted towers reaching up to 217-feet high and shrines.
Padaiveedu Renukambal Devi Temple is situated in the Thiruvannamalai district . The main deity of the temple is Renuka Devi. The Goddess in this temple is said to have evolved on its own and is called as Swambu Amman. Only head of the Amman is worshipped. Sathanur Dam is one of the major dams in Tamil Nadu. It is constructed across the Thenpennai River also called as Pennaiyar River in Thandarampet taluk among Chennakesava Hills. The dam can be reached by road 30 km from Tiruvannamalai City. It was constructed in 1958.with the capacity of 119 feet. It is one of the biggest dam in Tamilnadu constructed in Kamarajar period.
Parvathamalai is present in the foothill of javadi hills and Abidagujambal – Maligarjunar temple is locaed in the hill top. The temple is a boon for mountain treckkers with natural scenaries and gentle breeze. Parvathamalai is one of the most sacred places in India. Seeyamangalam is a small village in Vandavasi taluk in Tiruvannamalai district of Tamil Nadu. Avanibhajana Pallaveshwaram temple also called Stambeswarar Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva, located in the town of Seeyamangalam. The temple is constructed in Rock-cut architecture by the Pallava king Mahendravarman I (600-630 CE) during the 7th century. The hill present at the opposite to the temple has jain bed and various statues.
Gangaikonda Choleeswarar Temple is dedicated to Hindu God Shiva located at Koozhampandal Village in Thiruvannamalai District. It is an ancient east-facing temple under the maintenance and control of Archaeological Survey of India. This temple was built by Isana Siva Pandita, the spiritual guru of Rajendra Chola I. This stone temple consists of a three storeyed vimana, an ardha mandapa and a mudka mandapa.
Dhusi Mamandur or just Mamandur caves are under Archaeological Survey of India and so is very well maintained with good garden. Mamandur has 4 unfinished caves in total which were excavated by Mahendra Varma Pallava in 600-630 CE.The first cave has 2 pillars supporting the entrance of the cave. The back wall has 3 sections carved out meant to be for 3 shrines but just not completed. The second cave was also unfinished with a row of pillars at entrance. Inside are 5 shrines. The third cave was a bit more completed when compared to the rest. There were 3 shrines inside with Dwarapala-s. There was a Shiva Linga inside the central shrine. The most important thing in this cave is that this has a 2 inscriptions, one of Parantaka Chola I and one of Rajaraja Chola I. As per the inscription this cave was then called Vruttiravaliswaram & Valiswaram. Also the inscription talks about the presence of a large irrigation tank here called Chitrameghatalaka. Finally the fourth cave is the northern most cave and perhaps the more complete of the 4. This too has an inscription about Mahendra Varma Pallava. This cave has a single shrine with no sculpture or reliefs inside or outside.
Ramachandra Perumal Temple or Yoga Ramar temple is located in Nedungundram, Tiruvannamalai District. This temple is dedicated to God Rama Chandra Perumal. Nedungundran Ramachandra Perumal Temple temple was built by Vijayanagara king Sri Krishnadevaraya on sprawling 8 acres of land. This is the biggest temple for Sri Rama.
Chandramouleeswarar Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva located in Natteri Brahmmadesam in Thiruvannamalai. The stone inscription mentions this place as Rajamala sathurvedi mangalam.
